Nashville to Host Nation’s Largest Nutrition Conference This Fall

Nashville, TN – The world of nutrition and dietetics is coming to Tennessee in a big way this fall: the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has announced that its flagship Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo will be hosted in Nashville from October 11–14, 2025, at the Music City Center. Registration is open now.

Nashville Fit Magazine is gearing up to release the latest issue inspired by nutrition.

Keynote Speakers Bring Star Power & Purpose

In a major announcement, the conference named Ellie Krieger, MS, RDN, chef, bestselling author, and host of Ellie’s Real Good Food, as a keynote speaker for the Mission in Motion session on October 13 at 1:30 p.m.

“The power of nutrition and the integral role registered dietitian nutritionists are in the spotlight during FNCE,” said Academy President Deanne Brandstetter. “As an RDN herself, as well as a chef, author and TV host, Ellie Krieger is a fantastic fit as keynote speaker for the Mission in Motion keynote session,” she adds.

That mission will be brought to the masses by Chef Carla Hall, the high-energy Top Chef alum and former co-host of ABC’s The Chew, who will deliver the opening keynote speech.

“This year’s theme for FNCE 2025 is ‘Feed your Passion’ and Carla Hall’s energy and passion for food is sure to inspire attendees,” Brandstetter says.

Why Music City?

Locating FNCE in Nashville is more than logistical—it’s symbolic. According to the Academy’s event description, the city’s vibrant combination of parks, greenways, farm‑to‑table dining, and outdoor recreation makes it “an ideal place to nourish both the body and mind.” Hosting the expo here highlights Nashville’s growing reputation as a health and wellness destination.

What to Expect

FNCE is the world’s largest gathering of nutrition professionals—RDNs, NDTRs, researchers, policy experts, clinicians, and industry leaders. Attendees will be treated to:

As thousands of nutrition professionals prepare to gather in Music City this October, FNCE 2025 isn’t just a conference—it’s a celebration of innovation, education, and community in the wellness world. With Nashville’s vibrant culture as the backdrop, this year’s theme, “Feed Your Passion,” will come to life through dynamic speakers, immersive experiences, and meaningful conversations that could shape the future of food and fitness.
