Nashville Takes Center Stage: FIFA Club World Cup Comes to GEODIS Park

NASHVILLE, TN — Music City is about to go global—on the pitch. GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States, will host three group-stage matches of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ this June, putting Nashville on the international map as a rising hub for elite athletics and cultural crossover.

The prestigious event brings together top-tier clubs from six continents, including Boca Juniors (Argentina), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Club León (Mexico), Auckland City FC (New Zealand), CF Pachuca (Mexico), and Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia). Nashville is one of just 12 U.S. cities selected to host, and it’s the only one with a soccer venue intentionally built for both atmosphere and athlete performance. Click here for tickets.

“This is a world-class moment for Nashville,” said Ian Ayre, CEO of Nashville SC. “From the very beginning, we built GEODIS Park to be more than just a stadium. We envisioned a venue capable of hosting the world’s biggest matches—and now, that dream becomes reality. And of course, we’ll show these clubs some Southern hospitality.”

Built for More: GEODIS Park’s Fitness-Forward Design

Opened in 2022, GEODIS Park boasts a 30,000+ seat capacity, acoustic engineering to amplify crowd energy, and a design focused on both fan experience and athlete support. Populous, the architecture firm behind the venue, incorporated athlete-centric amenities like injury-prevention flooring, rapid recovery areas, and climate-regulated locker rooms.

“The noise in here is brilliant,” said Nashville SC coach Gary Smith during the stadium’s debut. “You can feel the energy wrapping around the pitch—it’s incredible and absolutely impacts the players.”

Wellness Begins with Access

Hosting international clubs like Boca Juniors, Club León, and Al Hilal isn’t just exciting—it’s a visibility boost for every kid with a dream. When global talent takes the stage at GEODIS Park, young players across Tennessee get to witness the level of dedication, fitness, and discipline that elite athletes embody.

Whether it’s through attending a game or participating in youth programming connected to the event, this exposure encourages the next wave of players—and fans—to embrace an active lifestyle.

Nashville’s hosting of the FIFA Club World Cup marks a milestone—not just for the city’s sports legacy, but for the way global athletic events intersect with wellness, community, and cultural celebration. Whether you’re a lifelong soccer fan, a weekend warrior, or a parent raising the next local star, there’s something unforgettable happening in June at GEODIS Park.

And this time, the world will be watching.
