Meet Scott and Kim Crosbie Behind Next Health and Nashville Wellness Club

NASHVILLE, TN —For many, wellness is a trendy word, tied to green juices and meditation apps. But for Scott and Kim Crosbie, the journey into preventative medicine came from something far more personal: watching his mother battle dementia.

“I started digging into biohacking and functional medicine,” Scott said. “The more I learned, the more I realized people need access to this kind of care.”

That diagnosis became a turning point in his life. Scott didn’t just want to learn how to support his mother, he wanted to understand how people could take steps earlier in life to avoid similar outcomes. He began reading, researching, and connecting with leaders in the functional medicine space. Each discovery opened new doors, and what started as a personal quest quickly became a mission.

“I never thought I’d go back into business,” he admitted. “We retired, and I was enjoying that. But then this just made sense. It became a passion project that turned into more.”

Kim, his wife, remembers watching the shift unfold. “He just lit up,” she said. “You could see how much it mattered to him, and I knew right away this was something bigger than us. It wasn’t just about his mom, it was about changing how people view their health.”

From Retirement to Reinvention

The couple weren’t new to hard work. Before moving to Tennessee, they built successful careers in Charlotte, pouring long hours into their businesses and professional lives. They had every reason to enjoy retirement. Yet something about this opportunity felt different.

For Kim, the transition from retirement to running a wellness brand didn’t feel like a sacrifice, it felt like a reinvention. “I’ve always been passionate about building community,” she said. “Wellness looks different for everyone, and I wanted to create something that gives people the chance to explore that.”

She sees her role as the bridge between science and community. “Scott is very into the medical and functional side of things,” Kim said. “I’m more into the lifestyle side including how people can come together, connect, and make wellness something that feels approachable and fun.”

That combination of perspectives, Scott’s detail-oriented research and Kim’s focus on connection, became the foundation for their new chapter.

Next Health Nashville: A First for Tennessee

Located in the Gulch, Next Health Nashville is a wellness sanctuary that blends cutting-edge treatments with preventative care. Think of it has next level doctor’s office. The clinic is the first of its kind in Tennessee and offers services that push beyond the traditional boundaries of healthcare.

Members can explore an array of services designed to optimize health including biomarker testing, peptide therapy, IV drips, red light therapy, cryotherapy, and hormone optimization, to name a few. But one offering stands out as especially unique.

Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), often dubbed a “fountain of youth” therapy, is still relatively unknown to the mainstream, but research has linked it to promising results in longevity, inflammation reduction, and cognitive function. For Scott, offering such innovative care wasn’t about jumping on a trend, it was about giving Nashville access to treatments that could change lives.

“We’re the only ones in Nashville doing it,” Scott said about Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE). “People are driving in from different states just to have it done.”

That philosophy of prevention sets Next Health apart from many clinics, where people often arrive only when they’re already ill. Instead, the Crosbies want their members to see wellness as an investment—one that pays off in energy, resilience, and long-term quality of life.“It’s not sick care, it’s health care,” Scott explained. “We want people to come in before something goes wrong, not after.”

Building a Team That Matters

Of course, revolutionary treatments don’t stand alone, they require a team of experts who bring both credibility and compassion. Scott and Kim knew this was non-negotiable.

Building a trusted team was about more than filling roles; it was about setting a tone. “We’ve got the right people in place,” Scott said.

That emphasis on professionalism has already made an impression on members. The Crosbies are clear: they don’t want Next Health to feel like a spa or a quick fix, they want it to be a credible destination for long-term health transformation, one they are familiar with themselves.

The Nashville Wellness Club

While Scott was laser-focused on creating the clinic, Kim had her sights on something that goes along with it well. The Nashville Wellness Club. This community-based social platform that connects locals with fitness, wellness, and lifestyle experiences across the city.

“It’s about bringing people together,” Kim said. “I wanted a space where people could try different things and really discover what wellness means for them.”

From curated workouts to social events, the Wellness Club helps bridge the gap between individual treatments and lifestyle change. Kim wanted people to have fun while exploring new ways to feel better, whether that meant trying a new workout, discovering a meditation practice, or just making new friends who value health.

“Wellness looks different for everyone,” she emphasized. “The NWC gives people the chance to explore that in a supportive community.”

The Club also reflects Nashville’s vibrant energy. “We wanted it to feel like Nashville,” Kim said. “Music, food, connection—it’s all part of wellness, and it all belongs here.”

Living Their Mission

For Scott and Kim, Next Health isn’t just a brand, it’s a reflection of how they live their own lives. Both prioritize balance, staying active, and making space for joy.

“We love playing pickleball, hiking waterfalls around Tennessee, and just being outdoors,” Kim said. “And of course, enjoying Nashville’s food and music.”

That lifestyle is intentional. By prioritizing movement, connection, and exploration, the Crosbies model the exact kind of holistic wellness they hope their clients will embrace.

Their philosophy goes beyond longevity for its own sake. “This isn’t about just adding years to your life,” Scott said. “It’s about adding life to your years.”

Why Nashville?

When asked why they chose Nashville, Scott didn’t hesitate. “Nashville is growing so fast,” he said. “It’s the perfect place to bring something new like this.”

The city’s rapid growth has brought an influx of people who are looking for innovative options in health, fitness, and lifestyle. The couple believes Nashville is ready to embrace preventative care in a big way.

“I think people are ready for something different,” Kim said. “They want to feel empowered. They want to feel like they’re not just waiting for something to go wrong with their health.”

The couple also sees Nashville as more than a market, it’s their new home. “We fell in love with the energy here,” Kim said. “It’s vibrant, creative, and full of people who care about their health and their community.”

Looking Ahead

Though Next Health Nashville is still in its early stages, the Scott and Kim are already dreaming about what comes next. Expansion is on the horizon, but the heart of their mission will stay the same: giving people access to science-backed, preventative healthcare in an environment that feels relaxing.

“The science is always evolving,” Scott said. “And we want to make sure people in Nashville have access to the very best.”

At the end of the day, what drives Scott and Kim isn’t business—it’s a belief in the power of prevention and community.

“When you go through something with your family, like I did with my mom, it changes you,” Scott said quietly. “It makes you think about how precious health really is, and how much control we actually have when we make the right choices.”

Or, as he summed it up simply: “Our goal isn’t just to help people live longer. It’s to help them live better.”
