NASHVILLE, Tenn. — When Madelyn Elmore first moved to Nashville in 2021, fitness was already part of her story. Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Elmore grew up cheerleading, where weightlifting and athletic training were woven into her routine from a young age and became a formative routine for years to come.
But her move to Music City was about more than fitness. With country music roots in her family line, Nashville felt like a natural place to begin a new chapter.

Since moving to Nashville, Elmore has built a life that blends several passions including modeling, content creating and training women through personalized fitness and nutrition plans. While coaching is currently a part-time role, it has become one of the most meaningful pieces of her life.
“I’m a jack of all trades, I guess,” she laughed.
A Personal Turning Point
Elmore’s decision to become certified and begin coaching came from her own transformation.
About a year and a half ago, she reached the heaviest weight of her life.
“I was at my biggest I’d ever been,” Elmore admitted. “I looked at my husband and I was like, ‘I have got to get my stuff together.”
At the time, Elmore and her now-husband were newly engaged and enjoying that season of life. Like many couples, they were eating out often, snacking, and focusing more on enjoying the moment rather than sticking to a routine.
But as the wedding approached, Elmore knew she wanted to feel confident and changes needed to happen.
“I really wanted to feel really good about myself and not wanting to cover up on my own wedding day.”
She got certified, committed to her nutrition, returned to the gym, and began rebuilding her routine. Since then, Elmore has lost around 50 pounds.
Helping Other Women Feel the Same Confidence
Once Elmore saw what she was capable of, she wanted to help other women experience that same feeling.
“Why would I not want to help other women feel the same way that I feel right now?” she said.

Elmore began reaching out to people she knew and later connected with women through local Nashville groups. Today, she keeps her client roster intentionally small so she can give each woman a personalized experience.
From meal plans to workout routines, it is not a one size fits all program with Elmore. Each of her clients get her undivided attention and expertise depending on their goals.
For Elmore, the ideal client is not necessarily someone with a certain body type or background. It is someone ready to commit.
“Somebody that is actually driven to want better for themselves is who I am ready to help,” she said.
Training In Nashville
Elmore trains at Carbon Performance in both The Nations and Franklin, where she is also connected as an influencer. She said the gym gives her space to train, film content, and continue growing in her own fitness journey.
Her husband also plays a major role in keeping her motivated.
“He pushes me every day to grow stronger,” she said. “There’s a difference between training and just going in for a workout.”
That mindset has changed how Elmore approaches the gym. Instead of walking in without a plan, she focuses on intentional training.
“I want to feel strong when I leave the gym,” she said.
Food Swaps and Real-Life Discipline
For Elmore, much of her transformation came down to food choices, consistency and understanding what was actually going into her body.
Her biggest changes included eating out way less, increasing cardio and steps, prioritizing protein, and committing to the gym at least five times a week.
Elmore is also passionate about helping clients find healthier versions of foods they already enjoy. Some of her go-to meals include burger bowls, Mediterranean dishes, fajitas, homemade hibachi with cauliflower rice, and protein-packed snacks.
“Rice cauliflower is your best friend,” she laughed.
She also loves showing clients that healthy eating does not have to feel boring or overly restrictive.
“Find out what you like to eat and make a healthier version,” she said. “It’s so much easier to go to the grocery store and make what you like at home and know what you’re putting in your body.”

Elmore has a special talent to turn any beloved and even “unhealthy” meal into one that doesn’t have to compromise your diet.

More Than a Coach
Elmore’s approach goes beyond workouts and meal plans. She wants her clients to feel supported, especially when motivation gets hard.
“It is so hard to do it alone,” she said.
That is why she makes herself available when clients need help making food choices, navigating meals at restaurants, or simply staying accountable.
“If they are out at a restaurant and didn’t have time to meal prep, I’ll give them what they should order,” Elmore said. “I’m literally holding their hand, and I like it that way.”
Building a Community Online
Elmore has also grown a strong following on Instagram and TikTok, where people follow along for fitness tips, lifestyle content and inspiration from her own journey.
But she admits social media comes with pressure.
“Social media is definitely pretty hard, having your whole life out there for everybody to see,” she said. “But I will say, I think it drives me even more to be the best version of myself because there’s other people watching me and wanting tips to do the same.”

For Elmore, that responsibility is part of what keeps her going.
Finding the Fight to Keep Going
Elmore knows transformation does not happen overnight. For anyone feeling defeated, especially when progress feels slow, her advice is simple.
“Find the fight in here,” she said. “Find it to keep going and if you truly want it, don’t give up on yourself.”
