The 2nd Annual Davis House Dash returns on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, setting the stage for a morning that blends movement, purpose, and community connection. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or simply looking for a reason to get outside and be part of something meaningful, this is a race designed for you.
A Race for Everyone
The Davis House Dash offers something for every level of participant. Runners ready to push the pace can line up for the chip-timed 5K, while those looking for a more relaxed experience can enjoy the 1-Mile Family Fun Run. Walkers, first-timers, and families with strollers are all encouraged to join in—and yes, it’s dog-friendly, so your four-legged training partner is welcome too.
This isn’t about elite performance. It’s about showing up, moving your body, and being part of a shared experience that brings people together.
Running for a Greater Purpose
At its core, the Davis House Dash is more than just a race—it’s a mission in motion.
Every step taken supports Davis House Child Advocacy Center, an organization that serves as a first responder when child abuse is reported in Williamson County. Inside their safe, child-focused environment, children are given the opportunity to share their story once—reducing trauma—while a coordinated team works to ensure protection, justice, and healing.
Funds raised from the event directly support critical services, including:
- Forensic interviews
- Child and family advocacy
- Trauma-informed therapy
And perhaps most importantly, these services are provided at no cost to the families who need them most. It’s a powerful reminder that something as simple as a Saturday morning run can create real, lasting impact.
More Than a Finish Line
What truly sets the Davis House Dash apart is the experience beyond the course.
Families and spectators will find just as much to enjoy as participants, thanks to a lineup of activities designed to make the morning feel like a full community celebration. One of the standout features is the Recess Racers Kids’ Zone, sponsored by Atmos Energy and The Goddard School of Franklin (Cool Springs). This space is built for pure fun—giving kids the freedom to play, explore, and burn off energy while the race unfolds.
Returning again this year is the crowd-favorite “Finish Line Fleet,” a hands-on touch-a-truck experience where kids can climb, explore, and get up close with a variety of vehicles. Just steps away, the Vendor Fair brings together local businesses, community partners, and interactive experiences—turning the event into more than just a quick in-and-out race.
A Morning That Moves the Community Forward
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a parent looking for a meaningful way to spend your Saturday morning, the Davis House Dash delivers. It’s a chance to be active, connect with your community, and stand behind children and families who rely on Davis House CAC during some of their most difficult moments.
This is what community looks like—showing up, moving together, and making a difference where it matters most.
