Nashville’s Fit Crawl Is Back, and This Year We’re Taking It to the Field

Nashville’s fitness community has never needed much convincing to show up, get sweaty, and rally around a good cause.

But this year, we’re adding field-day games, costumes, a little healthy trash talk, and some very serious bragging rights.

The 7th Annual Fit Crawl 2 Fight Breast Cancer returns Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at E. Rose Park. This year’s event is trading the traditional crawl format for one big community celebration: Fit Crawl Field Day for a Cause.

Think adult field day meets fall festival, with Nashville’s fitness and wellness community showing up in full force to support the fight against breast cancer.

And because it lands on Halloween, costumes are absolutely encouraged. Your team could arrive dressed as superheroes, ’80s aerobics instructors, zombies, or something wildly unhinged that makes sense only to your group chat. We support the chaos.

Seven Years of Nashville Moving With Purpose

Fit Crawl 2 Fight Breast Cancer began in 2020 after Men Wear Pink ambassador Rashed Fakhruddin saw an opportunity to bring Nashville’s fitness community together around movement, survivor support, breast cancer awareness, and fundraising.

What began as a community-centered idea grew into a month-long crawl involving more than 50 fitness and wellness studios. Participants could experience everything from Pilates, yoga, cycling, boxing, barre, and dance to HIIT, strength training, and conditioning while supporting the American Cancer Society’s cancer research, education, awareness, and patient services.

Nashville Fit has been a major partner in that mission, helping connect the studios, gyms, trainers, wellness businesses, survivors, sponsors, and community members who continue to make Fit Crawl possible.

This year, that mission stays the same. The experience, however, is getting a serious glow-up.

One Big Field Day for a Bigger Cause

For 2026, Fit Crawl is bringing the Nashville fitness community together at one central event produced in partnership with Forever Field Day and Just Play Entertainment.

Teams representing local gyms, fitness studios, run clubs, trainers, wellness businesses, corporate offices, and friend groups will compete in a lineup of high-energy field-day challenges.

No, you do not need to be Nashville’s most elite athlete.

You do need a team, a sense of humor, and the willingness to get competitive over games you probably have not played since elementary school.

The field-day competition is $25 per participant, with proceeds supporting the American Cancer Society. Whether your team comes to win or simply attempts to remain coordinated in public, every registration helps move the mission forward.

Not Competing? Come Anyway.

The field-day competition may be the main event, but the entire morning is designed for the Nashville community.

General admission to the festival is completely free. Guests can enjoy music, entertainment, local fitness and wellness vendors, interactive activations, games, and opportunities to support the cause.

Ascension Saint Thomas will also have its mobile mammography unit onsite offering free mammograms, bringing an important early-detection resource directly into the community.

So even if relay races and tug-of-war are not calling your name, there is still plenty of reason to come out, explore the festival, cheer on the teams, wear something ridiculous, and be part of a morning that matters.

Nashville Businesses Can Get Involved, Too

Fit Crawl is also inviting local businesses, wellness brands, organizations, and community partners to join the festival.

Instead of paying a traditional vendor fee, participating vendors will donate in exchange for activation space. Vendors are encouraged to make their setups engaging and interactive by giving attendees something to experience, sample, try, play, or remember.

This is not the morning for sitting quietly behind a folding table with one lonely brochure. Bring some personality.

The Mission Behind the Movement

Breast cancer has touched far too many people and families in our community.

Fit Crawl was created to turn Nashville’s collective energy into action by raising awareness, encouraging early detection, supporting survivors, and generating funds for the American Cancer Society.

For seven years, Rashed, Nashville Fit, and participating fitness and wellness partners have shown what can happen when an industry that is usually divided by memberships, class formats, and studio walls comes together around one purpose.

This October, we’re doing it again. Just louder, bigger, and possibly dressed like Barbie with a resistance band.

Build Your Team and Join Us

If you own a gym or studio, build a team.

If you lead a run club, rally your runners.

If you manage a business, recruit your coworkers.

If you train clients, start drafting your strongest and most coordinated people immediately.

If you simply want to support the cause, come enjoy the free festival and cheer on Nashville’s fitness community.
