Community Comes Together for the Davis House Dash This Saturday at Harlinsdale Farm

This Saturday, May 16th, families across Williamson County are invited to gather at the beautiful The Park at Harlinsdale Farm for a morning filled with movement, connection, and purpose during the annual Davis House Dash.

Hosted by Davis House Child Advocacy Center, the event is much more than a race. It’s a powerful community reminder that children and families facing abuse and trauma are not alone.
From the 5K and Family Fun Run to the Recess Racers Kids Zone, Vendor Fair, Finish Line Fleet, and interactive family activities, the Davis House Dash is designed to bring people of all ages together for a cause that deeply impacts Williamson County.

Families are encouraged to come out, whether they plan to run, walk, volunteer, browse vendors, or simply enjoy a fun Saturday morning outdoors. The Recess Racers Kids Zone — presented by Atmos Energy and The Goddard School of Franklin-Cool Springs — along with the Vendor Fair, will be completely free and open to the public from 8AM to 11AM.

There will be games, activities, local vendors, community resources, and plenty of opportunities for kids and families to enjoy the day together. And yes — dogs are welcome too.

But behind the fun is a mission that matters deeply.
Every year, hundreds of children in Williamson County walk through the doors of Davis House Child Advocacy Center after experiencing abuse. Through forensic interviews, therapy services, advocacy, and emotional support, Davis House provides a safe, child-focused environment where healing can begin.

Events like the Davis House Dash help ensure those children and families know they are surrounded by a community that believes them, supports them, and genuinely cares about their future.

Every registration matters. Every volunteer matters. Every sponsor matters. And every person who shows up sends a message that this community stands together for its children.
The organization is also still seeking volunteers to help bring the event to life. Opportunities include:
  • Course Marshalls
  • First Aid Stations
  • Parking Monitors
  • Finish Line Hype Crew
  • Water Stations
  • Event Setup & Teardown
Whether you lace up your running shoes or simply come to enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends, the Davis House Dash promises to be a meaningful morning built around hope, healing, and community connection.

So grab the kids, invite your friends, bring the dog, and spend your Saturday morning supporting a mission that truly matters.
