Celebrate 4/20 Weekend at CannaFest in Nashville (Responsibly)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville’s cannabis culture may live in a legal gray area, but the community? It’s thriving.

Just in time for 4/20, CannaFest is bringing the energy back to the city with a full weekend dedicated to wellness, music, and connection. Set for April 17 through April 19, the event blends everything from live DJs and vendor pop-ups to yoga sessions and recovery-focused experiences—all designed to highlight the evolving cannabis and hemp space in Tennessee.

With general admission tickets starting at just $20, the festival is intentionally accessible, inviting both seasoned consumers and the cannabis-curious to step in, learn, and vibe together.

The weekend lineup includes a Friday night kickoff centered around music and community, a Saturday expo featuring local brands and vendors, and a Sunday reset focused on wellness and healing.

More than just a 4/20 celebration, CannaFest reflects what cannabis culture in Nashville is becoming—less about extremes, and more about education, intention, and shared experience.

While cannabis is still controversial in many parts of the country, its potential benefits continue to drive conversation.

Research and anecdotal use suggest cannabis and hemp-derived products may help with:

  • Chronic pain management
  • Anxiety and stress relief
  • Sleep support
  • Inflammation reduction

At the center of this conversation is the difference between marijuana and hemp-derived cannabinoids—a distinction that is critical in Tennessee.

Unlike states with legalized recreational or medical marijuana, Tennessee only allows hemp-derived products that meet strict THC thresholds. That means many consumers in Nashville aren’t using traditional cannabis, but rather compounds like TCHp or previously, THCa.
