There’s a new kind of fight culture making its way to Nashville — one rooted in authenticity, discipline, and community. Opening June 1, Nashville Boxing Club is bringing a modern boxing experience to the city while staying true to the grit and tradition that made the sport legendary.
Founded by renowned boxing coach Julian “JC” Cortez, the club is already drawing attention from fighters, fitness enthusiasts, and boxing fans across Middle Tennessee.
Cortez is best known as one of the coaches for Team Boxing League’s Nashville Smash, rising professional fighter Seth “Superboy” Duran, and 5x National Champion Airam Macias. He also serves as the head coach for Nashville’s premier charity boxing event, Rumble on the Row — helping shape both elite athletes and Nashville’s growing boxing community.
But Nashville Boxing Club isn’t just for fighters stepping into the ring.
Built to feel like a true boxing club rather than a trendy fitness studio, the facility combines old-school boxing culture with high-end strength and conditioning. The atmosphere is intense yet welcoming — a place where professional fighters, amateur competitors, and everyday people can all train side by side under one roof.
The coaching staff is made up entirely of experienced professional, amateur, and master boxers who bring real-world fight experience into every class, training session, and workout. Members can expect authentic boxing instruction, performance-based conditioning, and a culture centered around hard work, accountability, and personal growth.
Whether someone is preparing for competition, looking to build confidence, improve their fitness, or simply train with purpose, Nashville Boxing Club aims to deliver a championship-level experience for everyone who walks through its doors.
In a city known for its creativity, hustle, and rising sports culture, Nashville Boxing Club is poised to become more than just a gym — it’s becoming a home for those who want to push themselves mentally and physically while being part of something bigger.
With doors officially opening June 1, the club is ready to introduce Nashville to a new standard of boxing and performance training.
