A Doctor Who Healed Herself Shares Her Story on the NFM Podcast

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A former corporate professional turned holistic health expert is sharing how she transformed her life after being told her diagnoses were “incurable.”

In a recent episode of the NFM Podcast, Dr. Jackee Shu joins hosts Abby Miranda and Collin Schoen to discuss her journey from working in New York City’s fast-paced corporate world to becoming a Doctor of Acupuncture and integrative healing practitioner.

Dr. Shu said her path shifted after facing multiple health challenges that conventional approaches failed to resolve. Determined to take control of her well-being, she turned to acupuncture, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and nervous system regulation—methods she credits with reversing her conditions.

Now a nationally board-certified Diplomate of the NCCAOM, Dr. Shu has completed more than 3,000 hours of advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and related fields, including orthopedics, gynecology, dermatology, and psychology.

Her education also includes work with Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Inner Health Coalition, where she studied the intersection of meditation, neuroscience, and self-regulation in healing.

During the episode, Dr. Shu discusses the evolving conversation around so-called “incurable” conditions, the role of acupuncture in whole-body healing, and how mindset and nervous system health can impact long-term wellness.

This episode is presented by B2 Wellness Suites, ChillN, and Level Wellness.
