Music City Yoga Festival to Take Place on February 15th

WHAT: Small World Yoga will be hosting its annual Music City Yoga Festival Presented By GoNoodle on Saturday, February 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. by bringing together the region’s top yoga instructors and wellness experts for a day of self-care and community that features live music, diverse vendors, food trucks and local businesses. Attendees have the opportunity to take yoga classes throughout the day from a robust line-up of local and national yoga teachers. This event is open to all ages and yoga levels. Tickets are available online for $50 at musiccityyogafestival.com or at the door the day of the festival for $65.

All proceeds from the event support Small World Yoga, a Nashville nonprofit inspiring growth, connection, and possibility through yoga across Middle Tennessee. Serving an average of 2,000 students per month, Small World Yoga has over 140 certified teachers helping to increase access to the physical and mental benefits of yoga. Classes are offered in more than 100 outreach locations throughout Music City, including Room in the Inn, the Davidson County Correctional Facility and The Next Door.

COST: $50 for General Admission; Food and beverage vendors will be available for individual purchases, as well as various retail vendors in the Festival Marketplace.

9:00 a.m. – Registration opens
10:00 a.m. – Welcome and Meditation, Brooke Widmer (Small World Yoga)
10:10 a.m. – Powerful Vinyasa with Cindy Lunsford (Yogasoul) and Amanda Bell (Bend and Zen Hot Yoga)
11:15 a.m. – Standing 26 with Nora Shabayek (Fahrenheit Yoga) and Madison Blackwell-Dotson (Madison Ryan Yoga)
12:10 p.m. – Vinyasa Flow with Emily Wilterdink (Life Time Athletic – Franklin) and Kristin Gore (FreeBird Fitness)
12:55 p.m. – Mission Moment: Connecting People, Creating Community with Liz Veyhl (Small World Yoga)
1:15 p.m. – Bootcamp with Derrick T. Billups Jr. (City Fit Concierge) and Lindsey Hahn (Burn Boot Camp – Bellevue)
2:10 p.m. – Cacao Bliss Flow with Debbie Williamson and Kellie Lin Knott (Wild Kauai Chocolate)
3:05 p.m. – Yin Yoga with Liz Stewart (Sanctuary For Yoga, Body & Spirit) and Ashley Brooke James (TRILUNA Wellness)
3:55 p.m. – Namaste

ABOUT SMALL WORLD YOGA

Small World Yoga is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and accessibility to yoga. Small World Yoga’s mission is to inspire growth, connection and possibility by increasing access to yoga.
