Chris is a Baptiste certified yoga instructor with over 1000 hours of teaching and over 500 hours of training. He has been teaching and coaching for over half of his life and currently teaches at Shakti Power Yoga, Vigor Fitness, Freebird Yoga Fusion, Hot Yoga Plus and Fahrenheit Yoga Studio. He also volunteer teaches for the nonprofit Small World Yoga. Chris believes yoga has changed his life and that it is my purpose to share this transformative practice with as many people as possible, as often as he can.
Haley works at Alpha Omicron Pi International Headquarters where she is the assistant director of communications and editor of the sorority’s magazine. Jamie is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer specializing in strength, weight-loss and mind-body transformations. She has worked with individuals and groups designing programs scientifically proven to get results. As a Medical Exercise professional she also works closely with those in post rehab and injury prevention. Torri is a 24 year old from a small town called Gainesboro, TN. She graduated from Jackson County High School then went on to attend Tennessee Technological University where she graduated with a duel Bachelors degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Currently the Director of Social Services for Kindred Health Care, Carver is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Middle Tennessee State University. Costa Rican by birth, Tennessean by heart, Ronald has made Nashville his home since 2003 when he moved to the USA. After a whole life of eating a carnivore diet, he decided to stop eating any animal derived products and become a vegan “foodie” to prevent diabetes and colon cancer which have run in his family for generations. Ronald enjoys transforming normal recipes into vegan dishes and post them on his Instagram (@nash_vegan) so the world can see that eating vegan doesn’t mean that you only eat lettuce all day, and it’s super healthy for you! Known for her spunk, loud mouth and challenging fitness classes, Megan has been teaching and training for over 15 years. She started in fitness by teaching kickboxing and spinning while attending Baylor University. In 2006, Megan moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music. She went on to became an acclaimed trainer teaching at Barry’s Bootcamp as well as opening her own personal training studio. Megan now teaches at Shed Fitness in Belle Meade and other neighboring studios. Aside from training, Megan finds solace in running and has had the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon. Born and raised in Salem, Illinois, Matt is an instructor at Barry’s Bootcamp (HIIT Program with a base of half cardio training and half strength training with the use of treadmills, dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, etc.). A native of Los Angeles, CA, Elera relocated to Nashville and began piloting her original routines at various locations in Rutherford County. She now teaches 60 minute sessions in Smyrna and Nashville and is known to pack a facility past its capacity.
Trey is from the mean streets of Memphis, TN (actually the suburbs) and has always found himself enjoying his time spent in the weight room over his sports on the field. Trey discovered CrossFit in 2012 through a lifelong friend and enjoys pushing himself during training and competing in local competitions. James is an experienced rock climber and outdoorsmen who currently works as a climbing guide and instructor at Climb Nashville. Although climbing instruction is his specialty, he has a background in numerous outdoor sports, including mountain biking, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, backpacking, and mountaineering. He has been trained by the American Mountain Guide Association, the National Outdoor Leadership School, and Wilderness Medical Associates. Jeremey Tate (JT) was drawn to martial arts at a young age. As he matured and entered high school, he changed paths to wrestling, where he soon discovered the weight room and his love of not only training but helping others achieve their goals. In that environment, everyone was there for one thing: to better themselves. Joining a local gym after high school set JT up for a career in fitness by soon becoming a certified personal trainer. Obtaining his NASM Personal Trainer Certification 2 years ago, Jeremy has also added a number of certifications to his name since then, including Crossfit 1L, Crossfit Weight Lifting l1, MMA Conditioning Specialist, Group Training Specialist, as well as ABC (After Breast Cancer) Post Operations Specialist. Jeremey now coaches full time and it’s been one of the most rewarding aspects of his life.
